I had been asked on countless occasions to re-release the independent Apes, Pigs & Spacemen EPs which were originally released exclusively via the band’s original website, which no longer exists. For me, making this a worthwhile exercise meant completely remixing the tracks. It was a time-consuming labour of love, involving many hours of searching for original source files, re-playing some parts, re-sourcing guitar and drum sounds, adding new layers and mixing them from the ground up, whilst utilising all of the original performances and retaining an ‘unchanged’ feel as far as the songs are concerned. The end result is much more powerful and dynamic, polished, punchy and current.

This collection comprises 18 tracks from the original EPs, with artwork relating to which EP it original featured on, plus three bonus tracks.
